Private Home Projects
Private home project needs exist all around the world, with Puerto Rico being none the exception. Pastor Miguel and the IBTdR family know several homes that are in need of minor to major repair work. Home sites belong to both believers and non-believers.
Concentrating your mission trip by diving deep into one family's needs is just as much the Lord's work as it would be reaching hundreds of people briefly. By serving a designated family, missionaries get to know the family they are serving in a much more intimate way. No small ripples here.. working with a single family creates a giant wave that will spread across the community.
Don't be surprised when extended family invite you over for meals and try to tend to your every need as you work; when neighbors stare at you coming and going each day wondering what in the world you are doing; when you all share several tears as your time and projects come to an end.
Then the King will say to those on His Right Hand, "Come, those who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me." Matthew 25:34-36
