Parks and Plaza Outreach
No matter where you are, all children love toys, goodies and candies! Several barrios (neighborhoods) have parks adjacent to apartment buildings or block-style homes. Balloon animals, frisbees, salvation bracelets and candies are an easy way to rouse up a crowd. Play with the children, share your testimony and give them (and their parents) information about IBTdR and Jesus Christ.
Come back the next year and see the same children - the way their eyes light up from remembering you is priceless.
Serve in the same manner in downtown city plazas, but make sure that your freebies are geared as much for adults and teens as they are children. Be ready for a game of pick-up basketball, too!
